The Fluidtherm® diffusion plate eliminates the most common problems of fluidbed furnace failures. Made of refractory blanket material, it is non reactive to case hardening gases such as ammonia and natural gas. Since it is made of insulating material, it runs cool enough so a gas reaction zone is not necessary.
Thermal and physical shock problems are eliminated. The diffusion plate is completely separate from the retort, resulting in a stronger, less costly retort. It is removable, yet will support the entire work load. The Fluidtherm diffuser was engineered exclusively by the Fluidtherm engineers and is patented.
