Components of the Automated Hoist System

Furnaces
These conveyor systems can service both Fluidtherms' Salt bath or Fluidbed furnaces. these furnaces are typically electric powered, or can be gas heated
Quench System
Oil, water, air, salt or whatever is dictated by the heat treat process will be in the quench system. This is a well engineered, practical and effective system.
Washers
Washers are often necessary to finish the heat treat process. Fluidtherm’s washers utilize heat, agitation and the conveyor to optimize the cleaning system.
Transfer Mechanism
The transfer is composed of powered lifting and powered moving systems. These are always speed controlled to yield a cushioned “easy” movement that will minimize stresses on either the work loads or the transfer itself. This assures greatest quality, speed, production and life of the equipment. The system utilizes state of the art equipment for support, power and control. The system runway is typically floor mounted and located to the rear of the equipment. Safety of the operator is always a design consideration and includes guards and shutdown means for protection during operation and service.
