Lesco is a supplier to the “Green industry”. They are a source for equipment and expendable materials to greens keepers and other users of quality machines for lawn and greens maintenance. They needed a hardening system for their reel cutters. The Fluidtherm solution was a combination fluidbed austenitizing furnace that provided heat in a neutral atmosphere to 1550º F. and quenched and held in salt at about 650ºF. The result was minimal distortion and no decarburization.
